"Nothing like that ever happened."

Not true. Something "like that" happened with serious attempts to deport and ban specific groups of people. But his remarks recently are clear on his intent. Project 2025 is a detailed, 900+ page manifesto on how to fill government positions so that there is no resistance within the government to accomplish the things that Stephen Miller wishes to accomplish. Trump has specifically said he will deport millions, including people who have established citizenship here.

The only reason he didn't accomplish more was because he was administratively incompetent. But he now has enough "followers" within the Republican Party, which he has taken over, who are capable administrators.

And folks who think he is okay will not be left off the list of enemies. People like ex-AG Barr are surely going to be targeted. He has stated repeatedly that he will target those targeting him now.

Luckily for sane people, he has 91 federal counts to fend off.
