Newsom is perfect beacuse he's got just a bit of political smarmyness that seems to appeal to so many people. AOC? If you thought Hillary got treated badly, wait until the media gets their mitts on AOC. I'd vote for her in a second, but I'm not sure she'll be willing to subject herself to the anguish that will result from running. She has one trait you CANNOT have as a big time politician - sensitivity and a true human heart.

I don't think she'd be destroyed because she's a woman, although that certainly would play into it. She'd be destroyed because she's AOC. Progressive, charming, intelligent, with a genuine interest in the downtrodden. Actually, don't get me started on her. I've stated before that I have an almost unhealthy appreciatiion for her. I'll start sounding weird if I keep talkiing about her.

The thing about Khanna is that yes, he's an unknown, but an unknown quickly becomes a known if he/she wins a primary.
