Maybe it's because I write my own fiction, but I never get wayyyy involved in a storyline like GOT or, well, any of the franchises out there.

A lot of people seemed personally betrayed by the GOT ending. I was like, "Okay, that was a pretty terrible ending and the producers of the show should have consulted the final second Bob Newhart show for a quick masterclass."

But other than that, I was like, "whatever."

I enjoyed the show overall, so why let a bad decision by the writers ruin it for me? The detail of the set designs were alone enough to keep me coming back, but it was all pretty great.

Maybe if they really want to have fun, they'll reboot the ending. That's what I would do if I was the showrunner. Call it, "The People's Edition" or something like that. Or better yet, "The People's Addition," :-)

The lesson here (for me) is, don't let an ending ruin your day. You can make up your own in your head if you wish.
