Judging from his behavior patterns he's probably in the middle of one of those programs that tried to reverse homosexuality. I forget what they're called but they are kind of a thing in the conservative world.

Eventually he'll give in to his true nature and discover how his self-loathing has turned him into a fascist.

The sad thing is that here we are in 2022 and someone self loathes for being gay. That's disgraceful. Luckily, from what I can tell, the youngest generations roll their eyes anytime the subject even comes up. So maybe things will change as more repressed people die off.
