I've written a lot about Texas during my time at Medium because I used to live there, and a story on Abbott's latest cruelty has been on my TO DO list.

Abbott's militia actually PREVENTED the federal border patrol from saving these people. It was an active intervention, as I understand it.

In other words, murder.

The U.S. has plenty of room for these migrants. It's a big country. There are lots of open jobs. I don't see a lot of white dudes slinging shingles in the Dallas heat.

Construction companies, farmers, roofers and landscapers are dying for the labor help. I know that sounds like a stereotype, but it's just a fact that these are the types of jobs these folks, who work their asses off, migrate to. Why wouldn't Americans want such hard working, selfless people into their country? If they were Belgian or Ukrainian, there would be no issue. They have the correct skin tone.

Americans don't like admitting the reality behind their sudden stance against immigrants, who don't threaten ANY of our jobs.
