I've got one like that. I still haven't given up on it, and it's sort of what I guess you'd call THE ONE. But I can't figure out yet how to fix it. It's been "finished" several times. Still not right.

My novel Restive Souls has taken me three years. At least I consider that good enough to try to market to agents now. It's not a potboiler the way the vampire book is. More serious.

The problem for me as a writer is that stuff flows out really quickly, but then so much of it sucks that I have to do a ton of rewriting. It's interesting all the different methods writers have, isn't it?

I plan on finishing yours. I read the first chapter some time ago and it fell off my radar, which is why I bookmarked it. Good luck on its completion!
