I've been watching Ms. Harris since she was a prosecutor in S.F.

My impression back then was that she was going to end up right where she is now.

She has mastered an almost impossible art: Be a female politician that is assertive without triggering men into whatever it is that scares them about smart, clever women. The double standard sucks, but she sure has climbed over it.
