I've been saying for awhile that Trump will fade, deteriorate, or die. I'm still waiting on that, but I'll be amazed if he isn't a vegetable by the time the next presidential election rolls around. My own mea culpa is that I've been saying that he'd be a vegetable for a few years now, and somehow he keeps spitting words out of his mouth without drooling all over himself.

But your vigilance is a necessary part of today's discourse. And with you around, I don't need to do it :-).

No matter what happens to Trump, as long as we have an active group of people who are representing his "thinking" (an oxymoron if there ever was one), the U.S. faces an existential threat.
