I've been around different kinds. Trump definitely doesn't have full onset Alzheimers. His memory, although hardly keen, isn't completely wiped out. He remembers things (but confuses stuff a lot, an early sign).
His dementia is more cognitive in nature, which fits some of the stuff I have seen up close and personal. He has extreme difficulty stringing more than a couple of paragraphs together without completely switching themes.
If you compare his speech patterns to old interviews with Howard Stern, you'll hear in those old Stern tapes the same basic jerk, but he can parry well with Stern and string a bunch of paragraphs together.
Trump's cognitive decline began before he even took office in 2016. But it's gotten a lot worse over the last year or so. I seriously doubt he'll debate Biden.
Like all folks suffering from this condition, he has good days and bad days. More bad than good lately, another sign of collapse.
I agree, Biden seems fine. He has always suffered from stuttering. Many people are confusing that with cognitive decline. I think he's actually sharp as a whip.
I have great sympathy for people suffering from dementia and Alzheimers. I'm getting long in the tooth, myself, and work daily to keep my memory muscles active.
But I have no patience for people who encourage someone with this condition to run for president, and I believe mocking him in public, especially considering his toxic hatred, is appropriate.
