It's not about statistics. It's about the general flavor that is introduced.
I agree that progressives need to keep pushing, but this writer has taken ***numerous*** shots at Biden with contrivances, shoddily researched material, and outright falsehoods. This article is hardly the only one.
I understand the frustrations of Bernie supporters. I voted for him twice in the primaries. But he got creamed in the South. Folks with a grudge need to find ways to get their agenda out to people who are voting against the likes of Bernie instead of taking potshots at Biden, who hasn't had a chance to prove anything yet. Biden won. Deal with it, and keep voting for progressives where you can, and give a little money or volunteer your services to important races when you can. But taking shots at a guy who hasn't been in office a week is clickbait.
A lot of the general problem is with the Democratic mainstream itself. They need to end the filibuster, which is a Jim Crow era machination. If Manchin gets in the way of this, Dems to need to make sure he pays a heavy penalty for it. No use having a Republican in the Dem caucus.
As for my #metoo remark, it is reasonable to ask what in the world this writer has against Biden. I'll phrase it however I wish. Feel free to tune me out, block me, mute me, or whatever you need to do if you don't like it. But don't try to control my speech. I've been through sexual assault. I know what it feels like. If I want to make a caustic joke about it to make a point, I will.
