It's awful that you are struggling in this way. And it's awful that the two peoples living in this small corner of the world are represented by such terrible people. Netanyahu is a monster, Hamas, if it can be imagine, may be worse. Both are happily exterminating civilians, innocent people who just want to live life with their families.

To a much, much, much lesser extent, I, too, am disembodied from my people, who, I guess, are old white dudes. The vast majority of them support an American political party that is shaped only by hate, corruption, and greed.

It's all quite sad. All of it.
