It started with Reagan as you probably know. The rightward shift has defied the usual pendulum pattern of politics.

Now, we are a far right, nationalist country. I don't care what any Democrat says to this. He/she will have to demonstrate with empirical evidence how this is not so.

Our two parties are thusly formed:

One, a far right nationalist party that welcomes bizarre conspiracy nuts.

Two, the party for the corporations.

That's it.

Corporations will pay lip service to social issues because it helps them sell stuff.
