I'm probably left of Bernie, so I'm pretty left, but I miss conversations and debates with conservative friends. They just don't happen anymore.

Biden has been great so far, but even if he wasn't, he would still be great. That's how bad things were.

Last night I watched a Frontline show from PBS on Duterte of the Philippines.

I strongly recommend it. It shows that the weaponization of social media began in other countries.

That yes, maybe we can blame Trump voters for falling for so much of it, but it's better to find the source of these attacks and end them.

The journalist in question in this documentary demonstrated that 25 fake accounts, all related to each other, were responsible for more than a million messages promulgating Duterte's opinions, and the strong implication was that the source was not from with the Philippines.

The journalist was in frequent contact with Christopher Wylie of Cambridge Analytica fame.

One gets the sense that we were victims of a cyber war, Pearl Harbor style. It resulted in 500,000 deaths, because a competent president would not have led us into such a catastrophe.
