"I'm not trying to troll" and "men are actually disadvantaged now" is almost a formal definition of trolling.

I can only think of one occasion I've been able to directly affect a woman's salary. I was the hiring manager for two junior creative positions for a small ad agency. We hired a young guy and young woman, both exactly the same level of experience (basically, none).

The owner wanted to pay her about 20% less. I wasn't feeling altruistic at all. I was in my early 30s and didn't have anywhere near the awareness of these issues I have now.

I said to him, "But she's better than the guy. More talented, is gonna go farther, faster."

He asked, "So you want me to pay her more?"

I said, "Yup."

So he did! I'm very aware that was an unusual sitch. He was a pretty nice guy, but it's interesting that his instinct was to pay less because she was a woman. I never asked him why. I just didn't want to lose her, so I got right to the point. I felt like she had more talent, so I recommended a higher salary.

She took the job and stayed until I left.
