I'm not surprised by the Republicans who are polling well but it is way too early to give it much credence. DeSantis is a mass murderer and Pence is...how to say this politely? An idiot? But unlike Trump, he has no sway or command. He won't be drawing crowds. And I can't see MAGAnuts voting for him. They wanted to hang him 6 months ago.
As for Dems, I think the front runner is someone we aren't even thinking about somewhere.
She may even be the new governor of New York. Who knows? I like Klobuchar, too ( a little too centrist for my tastes but I'm not an idealogue when I look at presidential material). I think the 2% is meaningless at this stage of the game. It is very common for a primary loser to run again and do much better. They learn their lessons and do a better job of hiring campaign staff, etc.
I personally will take an affirmative action approach to who I vote for. Women in front, because we could really, really use some female energy in the Oval Office.
