I'm not in favor of further NATO expansion at this point. Let the Russians implode like they are doing, let them sort out their new government after Putin is finally expelled from power, and let's see what the Russian map looks like in the aftermath.

Nuclear war is nothing to trifle with. Putin is not predictable. The old Soviet army could be trusted to restrain its leaders. The current Russian army is obviously a mess.

This is not a situation where we can say, "Mistakes were made," and live to tell about it. Caution is essential. I think Biden understand this, thank God.
