I'm in the demographic you speak of. It's grim. I usually gravitate towards urban areas, so I'm officially a minority.

What are these people afraid of? Losing jobs? I don't see a lot of guys in red hats slinging roof shingles in the Texas or Atlanta heat. Are they afraid of payback? I live near midtown Atlanta. Everyone is nice to me.

So I don't get it.

I broke down those Trump statistics. They're grim. This isn't just some small group of disaffected, poor, white rural voters.

Like I say in my article, if I go to a white male doctor, what are the chances he'll have voted for Trump? Pretty high. Do I want to give someone like that access to my lower orifice via a colonscopy? How can I trust such an individual with those kinds of tools?
