I'm envious. When I was in grade school, I tested out at a 12th grade reading level. I read everything, but especially a lot of classics. But I don't retain the lines I love in my head at all. Maybe that's good as a writer, though, lol. For me, everything sort of just passes through my brain. A great line or paragraph stops to say hello, but no selfies.
