I'm an old white guy. I don't feel at all threatened by BLM or any of the rest of the social justice movement. If we white folks have to work a little harder and be a little smarter to adapt to the cost of reparations and affirmative action, then all I can say is, welcome to the Black community's world.

Black folks have had to be smarter and more resilient for what now, 500 years? We're lucky they haven't burned the place down. Instead, they've coped with incredible grace and good will.

We need to cherish the Black community. That should be our first step toward every comment and interaction we have with them.
