I'm an ignorant cis, so this was very helpful to understand what these folks go through. I think your article does a great job of making it clear that these kids are just like any other kids struggling with gender (didn't we all, to some extent, when we were young?). And that there is not a thing wrong with them at all. It's great to know there are professionals out there helping them through the process.

I have a friend out here in Georgia who is struggling with it from a legal standpoint. She's afraid of the direction laws in the South are going. It's quite unfair that she has to think carefully about things like a driver's license.
