I'm a grizzled old socialist. A hypocritical one, too, since I've spent my life working at big corporations and chasing money lol.

Life is all about compromise. Failure to compromise, at the end of the day, means a life of misery, in my opinion.

So I am sure, because of my grizzled socialist nature, that I would consider you more centrist than me, simply based on your comment here.

But so is 98% of the country.

Maybe that is why I find this whole refusal to accept election results so baffling. I've been accepting "unacceptable" election results all my life.

I loved Obama, voted for him twice, but he's a moderate Republican in the 70s. I don't judge people by their opinions (unless they are doing this version of Republican crazy).

I have adapted to the country I live in. I accept that the government and the economic system is not my preference. I accept, in other words, that the voices of the people are saying that I can't have the system of government and economics that I prefer.

I have an expectation - No, I demand, that Republicans do the same.

Moderate Republicans should be the very loudest in this calling out of our current myopia and weird conspiracy BS.

People like you and I shouldn't have to say a word about it.

As for how to interrupt this radicalization process, wow, I really have no idea.

My own "radical" nature doesn't extend to civil violence like yesterday's battles in D.C. Violence is never a good response.

I think I'd like to see Biden set up something like the JFK Warren Commission and have it check out everything. Russian influence really was a thing, and those who have been helping Trump with his excesses need some kind of formal, legal accountability.
