If it's any comfort, polls that were showing a disturbingly tight race, with Newsom holding only about a 5 point lead, have recently been showing signs of a landslide in his favor.

Newsom is definitely not perfect, but the recall effort is yet another ploy by Republicans to circumvent democracy.

Let's hope that California voters VOTE, and let's hope some of the investigations under way throughout the country start showing some results and throwing some of the various Republican goons into prison.
