I was going to write an article about that awful reaction from those crazy nut jobs but I never got around to it, just like you say you almost did in your headline.

You know, the thing about Gus was that when I saw him react like he did to his dad, I didn't even know he was neurodivergent and I thought, "I love this kid!!"

I mean, I assumed that was everyone's reaction. Neurodivergent or not, it was the highlight of the DNC for me, a lot of which I watched live (unlike the RNC, which I ignored for obvious reasons).

The reaction against him was so... weird. Not in a good way.
