I think we with progressive views do ourselves a disservice when we stereotype. Not all old white guys fit the mold. Those that do are dying off quickly from COVID. That’s not a joke. They really are.

What the progressive movement needs to do is attack policy without alienating people.

Let the right wing stereotype people. We should be better than that.

For every "Karen" there’s a progressive young white woman fighting for equality.

Are there a disproportionate number of old white guys blathering on about their fears? Yes, but that doesn’t make the stereotyping ok.

Attack the core problem: messaging and Fox News. The way to change is by producing good argument. Not by slamming someone for how they look or for their age.

I agree though. At this point in time it’s best to stay away during holidays. No big deal though. Holidays are super spreader events until (at least) everyone is vaccinated.
