I think there are so many alternatives these days that it's just sort of lost some of its relevance.

I had a CD collection of every issue, but it just wasn't the same as print. My grandmother had a whole pile of old ones. Those were fun.

Atlas Obscura is an awful lot of fun if you like this kind of stuff.
