I should have added that I sent the printed copies in response to solicitations from the potential reviewers. One by email, another by DM.

I've also sent a few to review sites that specifically ask for printed copies instead of digital. That doesn't really bother me but I also don't do that anymore either.

Overall I completely understand and agree with the message you are sending in this story, but I'll stand by my opinion that when someone solicits me for a print version of my book they should let me know if they think they can't get to it. Digital version? I can't care less. I send and forget.
