I remember her from the New Yorker. I've been an on again/off again subscriber for a long time (usually on). Mostly, I remember her name, which means I enjoyed her stories, because I read a lot of New Yorker short stories and I'm not so good at remembering the names of the writers.

One of these days I should give one of her novels a try! Thanks for the write up.
