I remember being completely blown away when he was running in the primaries when I saw in a speech at Wharton he gave the graduating class a lecture about the sins of MBA grads focusing on short -term profits.

That's like going to a baseball game and carrying around a sign saying, "Baseball sucks! Football rules!"

I was pretty hooked after that.

Then, he presided over an extension of Reaganism. It was under Clinton that corporate layoffs really took hold big time. Short term profits became a religion under his presidency.

As another commenter said, "I detest politicians."
