I live near midtown Atlanta so I don't have or need a car. But there are 3 grocery stores within walking distance, all along a nice urban walkway called the Beltline.

I can't imagine if that weren't the case. It would suck.

Atlanta does one thing right: It mixes low income housing into areas with higher income housing. There are food deserts here, but not as many as a place like, say, certain parts of the south side or west side of Chicago.

As for sugar in foods. Man, that affects us all. The food companies put it in everything. That could be a very long comment, so I'll stop there.
