I know you folks Beta tested this. I was one of the Beta testers.

I'm wondering if people commented the way Tessa Schlesinger in the comments area here did.

I know I sent feedback about how the contents disappeared from my publication's menu with the change. I was told they'd be back but so far, no.

Did you do any actual A/B testing on the redesign? If you did it wasn't valid because it took me a long time to figure out how to revert, and I still haven't because I don't know for sure that the original set up I had will actually return, since I don't know how you manage your code base.

If you had done A/B testing before pummeling us with the changes, I am willing to bet 70% or more would revert to the original.

As a former web engineer and art director I am sorry, but that logo is unfortunate. The M was fine. When I see it in my group of ten thousand chrome tabs, I know what it is. Now I have to search for Medium with these old eyes of mine. It's very tragic.

One thing I do know as someone who has worked at major companies in a creative and web capacity: A new creative lead comes along and decides to roll out big changes.

As an employee implementing the changes, it's fun because it keeps us employed.

So there's that.
