I have to think that from an armed services perspective, Gitmo has to be a curse word, and being assigned to it might even be considered a punishment of some sort.

The burden on the "correction officers" of Gitmo is going to be extraordinary as this thing builds out. There is no way they won't take out their frustrations on captives.

And it's in Cuba for the precise reason that it is remote. No press will dare demand access, because they're cowards and won't challenge Trump.
