I have mixed feelings about HRC.

On one hand, I see her as someone who was attacked relentlessly, and I mean nonstop, 24/7, by the precursor to Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich, and his band of medieval political soldiers.

She fought against the formation of the most contemptuous, racist, misogynist brand of politics since the civil war.

Gingrich used her as a punching bag for years as he built up the right-wing political machine that ultimately gave birth to Trump.

And yet, because of their acquiescence to Reaganism, and their acceptance of things like oppressive crime bills and their participation in the dismantling of welfare, the Clintons were an absolute political failure. They steered Democrats away from the policies that made Democrats successful (the New Deal, etc) and turned the party into the Corporatist party that it still is today.

So yeah, I don't care who she endorses, and I would almost say somebody should vote directly opposite of her choice.

But I'm also not going to be a Hillary basher. I'll ignore her as she fades away into obscurity as folks like AOC and her cohort help turn the party back to the spirit of what Bernie calls Democratic Socialism, but which is really simply a basic understanding that government provides necessary services and that taxes really are okay.
