I have a friend who's a doctor - he just absolutely hates our system and would love to see Canada's system here. The stories he tells, well beyond just the more commonly known tales, regarding how huge health organizations and insurance companies are managing doctor's practices are unbelievable.

To play devil's advocate, I said, "Well isn't Canada just one big health org that manages doctors' time?"

He has a number of doctor friends there. He said, "No."
