I don't see him killing 7 million people. But mostly because it wouldn't be convenient to his business interests. He's a sociopath, so when Covid killed a million Americans, he was pretty indifferent, and Americans have conveniently forgotten about that.
The Kaiser is not a bad comp, but I think a closer historical comp might be Mussolini.
Among modern authoritarian archetypes, I'd say the closest comp is the Philippine's Duterte, with a bit of Hungary's Viktor Orbán thrown in.
He's been almost a mime of Duterte over the last year, talking about rooting out vermin and the "violence" of migrants, something that is completely in his foggy imagination — Fed to him by Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller, since Trump is no longer capable of cognitive thought.
