I don't disagree with that. But if Americans were interested in improving education, they'd vote accordingly. Reagan skewered public education, and at the state level, governors like Abbott are still busy ripping it to shreds. One can argue about curriculum decisions forever but it's kind of a moot point when most public education systems are stripped to the bone.
