I disagree pretty much on all your takes here. We are looking at a situation where a good percentage of Trump's following cheers on his every action and statement, no matter what it is. Respect is earned. The nation is facing an existential crisis because of his cult. I saw your response to Pat from ONE person who debunks the cult theory. For every one person who debunks it, you can add five who support the theory.

This is a very dangerous time. Comparing MSNBC to Fox is classic whataboutism. Has MSNBC been sued for defamation because of lies? Nope.

It has opinionated anchors. I'm not a fan of that kind of broadcasting from any political spectrum, but I have to say at this point that it's needed to counter the pull of Fox, which REPEATEDLY sells lies. This isn't a claim. This is fact proven in a court of law.

I've been clear in all my political writing that I have considerable empathy for the growing rural underclass (even though it consistently votes against its self-interest).

I have no empathy or patience for those who supported the insurrection. That is the cult we refer to. You can call it what you want. I call them criminals and enemies of the nation and of democracy.
