I consider myself religious, but not in the traditional American Christian sense. Organized Christianity has perverted religion and turned it into a nearly demonic assault on morality at every level it's touched. It's been doing this for centuries.

Anytime a politician brings up religion to make a point, people should turn and run away as fast as they can, because that means a really terrible policy is about to be proposed.
