I agree with each point. I also would argue that anyone with a sense of history has understood the danger the stable genius has presented since he swept through the Republican primaries courtesy of Joe Scarborough and his daily free air time.
But the key thing to do still is to vote, and not worry. Yet.
There will be those who think that if their vote is meaningless because Spanky will find a way to disable it, they won't vote.
This is an unacceptable side-effect of your perfectly legitimate scaremongering
Although I absolutely understand the need to warn.
The more likely outcome is that this man is so disabled mentally that even his temporary allies will jump ship if they see him lose the election.
Biden's 50 years shaking hands with every single person in Washington D.C. actually serves us well for once. There will be a collective sigh of relief if he wins in the political establishment (if you want to call that the Deep State, fine).
Also serving us well is the fact that the Perp in Chief, like everything else, can't even do authoritarianism well. Goodness, he trash talks his own security apparatus. The security agencies will be happy to serve Biden, and happy to escort the stooge in chief out of the oval office when the time comes.
All of these well conceived articles you are writing should serve as a warning, howevver, even if Biden wins.
In a sense, we are lucky that the man who is trying to be dictator is as much of numbskull as he is. The next one won't be. The next one will be charismatic, know how to engage with the security agencies and military of this country, and may perhaps even have read a book or three.
Trump is a symptom of a larger disease that isn't going to go away if Biden wins. I wish I could say I had an answer for that.
