How much of this stuff do you think will go away organically once Kamala is elected? A lot of this stuff started with 9/11, and my demographic has always been pretty racist. But it really went batshit crazy when Obama got elected. Major backlash, much more than I anticipated.
I spend a LOT of time going after this kind of nonsense, like you, but of course I'm a small voice, if only because people in my demographic don't want to hear it.
But I'm hoping her election puts a dent in this crap. I'm hoping that by the time her second term is reached, and a new generation of kids that is influenced by her presence in the Oval Office instead of the racist idiot, things start to change.
It's easy to forget all the young boys who were, say, 9 or 10 when Trump was first elected are now in early adulthood. Kids who were 15 are 24 now, and so on. They think Joe Rogan and Andrew Tate are the role models.
The influence of MAGA reaches very deep into the American subconscious.
