Hmm. I've never had a yearning for a hoverboard. My assumption, I think, is that I'd lose my balance, which wouldn't be a pretty sight at almost any height.

However. I do want to be able to use the Star Trek transport machine to go to Canada at will on a whim.

In fact, I think it would be a good national program to develop so that every U.S. citizen has this capability.
