I'm reminded of an old sci-fi novel, Canticle for Leibowitz, wherein amidst ancient ruins is found a shopping list, which becomes sacred to the people who encounter it.

Someday, long after the apocalypse, the internet will be dead, and all that will be left of its cyber remains will be your odes to Hamid, which will be discovered by a race of alien beings a million years from now.

Hmm, I may need to write a Kraken story.
