Great piece, thanks.

My fondest memory of my years in San Francisco is a strange one — I'll write more about it someday.

I was a new arrival. Excited to see if I could get a copywriting job at one of the ad agencies near Spear St. I was wearing a suit carrying my very large portfolio of samples when I noticed someone following me close behind.

I zigzagged around on the sidewalk, then turned a few unlikely corners in an attempt to confirm my suspicion. Finally, I did a pirouette to face my tormentor, only to see a young attractive woman giggling at me.

I was in a serious relationship at the time, or the end of the story may have been quite different.
