I've been zapping a lot of food lately, too, because I've been busy.
But in the past, I've had health food proponents tell me that microwaved foods are unhealthy.
So I've been googling a bit lately and the only thing I can see where it is a concern at all is that it might be a bad idea to frequently do it with plastics because of the potential for chemical leeching. So I do tend to use glass containers.
The coolest thing is that I no longer cook bacon. There are great pre-cooked bacon products out there and when I want to treat myself to bacon I toss a few pieces onto some parchment paper and, no mess, just a happy bacon eater. Takes just a few seconds. And the bacon is probably a lot worse for me than any chemical leeching via plastics, lol.
