I have both Russian and Ukrainian software folks in my semi-retired professional circle and within my very limited sample size the Russians are all pro-Ukrainian in this fight. Not anti-russian, just anti-Putin.

As you probably know, there are a lot of good Russian software people. I can pretty easily imagine them working against Putin's minions. I imagine even the criminal hackers have turned their attention to Putin.

Honestly, I don't even think the reports about Putin having support from the populace are accurate. Western media cite Russian pollsters, but I give that zero credibiliity at this hour.
