Good points overall but I would argue that the larger majority of silents pay little attention to politics.
These voters have long suffered Ross Perot syndrome, the hope that the salvation in a crappy political system is a high flying businessman.
If these people had done their homework, which they clearly did not, they would never have voted for him in the first place. It didn't exactly take a clinical psychiatrist to see that the guy wasn't operating with a full deck.
Hopefully these folks are tired enough of his act that they'll give him the boot he deserves.
But I'm not counting on anything as long as the polls still show that nearly 40% of voters are still considering re-electing him. That's an awful lot of loud people, isn't it?
