Good luck and keep it going. I have found during my longer than I care to admit life that my views change. Luckily, unlike a lot of my old fart peers, I have drifted even further left instead of becoming conservative.

I found myself in support of Ukraine but that's because I work with people from there. I care a lot about them and what is happening to them. But I'm also against American hegemony and the military industrial complex.

We need to challenge each other when we are in general agreement about most things. And we also need each other because we are up against far-right and fascist dictatorships all over the world.

When we disagree, I have found that like-minded people do it with compassion. So ignore the haters and remember that "hide response" is your best friend on Medium (besides me lol).
