From both personal observation and the stats of politicians (for example) who get caught, I would say the VAST majority are right wing bigots. I'm not a shrink, but I'm guessing their repressed sexuality unfolds in a dark way at some point. Not to mention that many of them are brought up that way, with abusive parents who did it to them while screaming, "Pray to Jesus."
