Even in a best case scenario, a future president could dissolve Congress with armed troops. The best case scenario happens when that is challenged in court, and the challenge wins.

Then, the president, because he has no checks or balances, simply ignores the Supreme Court ruling that favored the challengers.

Game over.

In fact, he can ignore EVERY RULING a future Supreme Court makes, because there are no consequences for doing so.
