Debanking appears to be a bit of a thing but it isn't politically motivated. Rogan shouldn't be able to promote lies like this, and guys like Andreesen should be held accountable for telling these lies.

I know a guy who was debanked by Bank of America, but I also know he's the type of guy who is always looking for ways to game the system.

He complained bigly about being debanked, but the more I learned later about his general behavior the more I realized he was probably debanked for a reason. His apartment roommate said he constantly got mail from the bank's fraud department because he kept making various claims against the bank. The roommate had no idea what they were about but before he knew it, the guy was magically debanked.

I have read news stories about debanking, too, but these seem to be more about people unable to maintain a consistent balance above a certain amount, or that type of thing. Again, not political. Not fair, and definitely unjust, but not political, but you can see why Andreesen would shout about it because most fraudsters are probably Trumpsters, and many impoverished folks are, too. So when an impoverished Trumpster gets unfairly debanked, he sees this on Joe Rogan and gets all knotted up and becomes even more MAGA than he was.

Ironically, the answer to debanking would come from a CFPB rule, or, more precisely, a congressional statute enforced by CFPB. These billionaires clinging onto every penny seems like some kind of sickness.

Normally I'd say thanks for the info here, some of which was new for me, but watching Andreesen and/or Zuck makes my brain hurt.

Okay, well, thanks anyway. :-)
