Biden and Senators in today's Democratic Party would all be moderate Republicans if you sent them in a time machine to the 1970s.

And today's Republicans would be defended in court by the ACLU for the right to spout all their hatred, and would be considered extremists, at best, if you sent them to the 1970s.

Voters let this happen. The far right has been on the attack since Reagan's days. They focus on the small stuff like school boards and state legislatures because they know we don't vote in those elections.
